另，普通话为dūn ,台湾似乎是dùn 。
而目前，这个字我普遍听到的是tung，曾在中国国际广播电台华语台潮州话频道中听过túng。各地方是怎样读的呢？

毫无疑问，是读阴平：tung

台灣國語確實是讀去聲. 福州語讀上去

他经常用到“吨”字，就我所听到的，确实揭阳音是阴平tung。

广东人民出版社的《广州话·客家话·潮汕话与普通话对照词典》中，“吨”，广州音toen阴平，客家梅县音tun阴平，潮语是文读tung阴平，白读thang阴平。

但我似乎从没在口语中听到这个白读thang。

臺日大辭典有 tun/ tùn/tan三種讀法

读thang会否从单词ton的发音译过来的？

With transliterations, it should be normal to have variations. In Taiwan, we say dun4 in Mandarin. Most people say tōn in Taiwanese, a sound from Japanese indeed.

“tōn”是啥物？看無。

tōn is 噸 spoken in Taiwanese here in Taiwan. When there's a number before it, it's used this way. Like in 1.5 tōn. But when followed by other words or the word before is not a number, it's usually tùn as in tùn-ūi and kong-tùn.

tim兄是订酷济台湾人当“吨”用在数目后爿其时阵，兹个字读作tōn，，比如订1.5吨就订做“1.5 tōn”。兹个读音是从日本语底爿借来其。

不过若是吨字头前毋是数目，或者吨字后爿还有别物字组成新词，hiá吨字就经常读做tùn，比如“吨位”读tùn-ūi，“公吨”读kong-tùn。
