19世纪的泉州地名

正在翻译19世纪传教士关于泉州的日志。我不是闽南人啊，所以碰到很多地名头疼。谁能帮帮忙吧。
比如 Phoa-noa, Khoe-bay,Sian-oan.

可否把全文上傳過來，沒有上下文很難推測，那個應該是小地方的名字。

1. On the coast at Siong-see, up the An-khoe Valley at Sian-oan, and nearer the city at Khoe-bay, there were some who had early been interested in the gospel. 第一个是松溪。剩下的都不知道了。

2。 At Phoa-noa the influence of the Chinchew Hospital has been of the greatest service in enabling us to secure a house as a place of worship. Phoa-noa应该是归属泉州的一个中心地区。

你可否把這一段話翻一下。我英文不是很好。

khoe-bay，應該是溪尾khoe ber，今雅化成溪美，在南安市。
Siong-see，不一定是松溪。

在松溪（Siong-see）沿岸、在安溪（An-khoe）上游仙缘（Sian-oan）附近的村庄、或是在口北湾（khoe-bay）附近的城市，有些人早已对《福音》产生浓厚兴趣。

在浮南(Phoa-noa)，泉州医院的影响使我们很容易就找到了一个做礼拜的地方。我们的一个病人在浮南一带很有势力，他利用自己的影响力保证了教堂的开放。

Siong-see應該不是松溪，因為松溪是在南平，而且是依普通話的讀音得來的。
依英文原文，倒有可能是石獅的祥芝siong tsi，剛好在岸邊
